What do you all think of Cadillac’s new center for lifestyle and culture. It is open to the public, features coffee, has rotating Cadillacs, and finally will havea new line of fashion there ever quarter (yawn to that last bit). Is this cool or a desperate gimmick to regain sales? I think it is a tad dorky but I have no doubt that when I am in NYC I will have to visit it because Cadillacs lineup might be the best it has ever been.

Needs a Corvorado to add ambience. (continues beating dead horse)

Why not? Some kind of flagship showroom type of thing can’t hurt.

Fashion? Like Ralph Lauren Polos with the Cadillac logo on them? If so, nice.

To be honest it is probably more effective both in terms of brand awareness and value than a 7+ figures on a horseshit sponsorship deal.

I think its a desperation gimmick that’s saying look we can be classy and artsy and modern too. You don’t see any of the other luxury automakers doing that. The fact that the cars are inside rotating should tell you everything. Instead of this being some stand alone thing that probably wont be there long, this whole design and idea should be implemented into their dealerships as STAND ALONE’S. Not with Buick or GMC. Along with new sales training.

I believe the’s songs about Pink Cadillacs too, but I don’t think that would help their image problem either...

I totally agree with that. Who wants to go to a Chevy dealership to buy a $100k car anyway? The services normally insufficient

I think it’ll bring in foot traffic from non car people especially if there’s going to be fashion shows and other events. Will they care about Cadillac is the question.
